DDCF Clinical Scientist Development Award – internal coordination deadline 10/28/10

The College of Medicine may nominate two candidates for the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF) 2011 Clinical Scientist Development Award (CSDA). The purpose of the CSDA Program is to provide support for mentored research to junior physician-scientists working in any disease area as they begin their careers as independent clinical researchers.

Bankhead-Coley and James & Esther King – call for applications released

The Bankhead-Coley Cancer Research Program and the James and Esther King Biomedical Research Program have issued the FY2010-2011 Calls for Grant Applications at http://www.floridabiomed.com/. Grants will be awarded to Florida-based universities, established research institutions, and eligible small businesses for the study of cancer and tobacco-related diseases, including prevention, diagnoses, treatments, and cures.
