Team Science Academy

The Office of Research Affairs is excited to launch a comprehensive research training and workforce development program: The Team Science Academy. Our vision is to create innovative and team-science focused programs to enhance knowledge, skills and experience needed to build a resilient community of  transdisciplinary and interconnected research workforce of the future. Under the Team Science Academy, we will host a variety of Research Training programs, including the R01 Boot Camp, AI Boot Camps, and the Team Science Boot Camp.

Call for 2022-2023 R01 Boot Camp Mentee Applications

R01 Boot Camp- Call for Applications open until May 21, 2022!

The R01 Boot Camp is a 9-months team-science and mentorship-focused program designed to help College of Medicine faculty members receive their first R01 grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Mentees will receive specialized training, guidance, and camaraderie as a participant in this 9-month program. Participation is limited to faculty members who have not yet been Principal Investigators on R01 grants. Faculty Coaches with established track records of external funding and a commitment to mentoring will meet with and advise their assigned mentee peer group.
